Vicious Destiny Arrives at Pets Alive

Vicious Destiny, the cat deemed too violent to be adopted to the public by New York City’s Animal Care and Control, arrived at Pets Alive today. She is reportedly affectionate and attention seeking and not at all scary.

Thank you so much for saving Destiny… and so many other animals. You are one of few rescue organizations which is not afraid to speak against evil perpetrated by ASPCA which means you’ve got balls. Which counts as much as individual animal lives – in the long term – it means perhaps more. Hats off to you Pets Alive!

  • Any cat placed in a strange and frightening environment will be scared and defensive. They need time to aclimate themselves and feel unthreatened. What are these people thinking. Becky you are a true cat person. Good for you Pets Alive!

you are a god send to poor destiny. from what I hear the ny animal care and control, along with brooklyns animal care and control are quick to put down animals before they even get a chance to be seen. they consider everything either a pit bull or mix or any cat vicious or unmanageable. it takes a gentle hand and understanding to sometimes get through to a scared and lonely animal. if you were that cat and they treat you mean or do not know how to be gentle, you would bite and be vicious too. good luck, she looks like a sweet cat. if she were vicious you would not be able to handle her at all.
